i kind understand the twist and the plot... its going to be deep. ( no pun intended )

I saw "Good One" a couple days ago and really enjoyed it, but the trailer is misleading as to the tone and content of the film. Watching the story unfold onscreen, I never felt any "Master Plan" clicking into place, nor did I have any sense of a knot of tension building in my stomach, despite the eerie background music in the trailer and the repeated mention of the "bad thing".

"Good One" is about fathers' relationships with their children, and older middle-aged men facing the latter part of their lives and coming to terms with the fact that they've made irretrievable errors in how they've lived those lives. You also watch young Sam about to embark upon her own life's journey, and you hope she will learn from her father's example. Again, I enjoyed this film, but it's not the one suggested in the trailer.
