Rabinovich is a thinking man's pianist . He understands the genesis of the music and therefor there is depth and meaning to his attacks, tonal and textural, pedal choices !

In Roman Rabinovich's performance of the Ligeti's piece you can hear not the notes only - it is the meaningful interpretation with certain interpretation showing idea in very individual manner of the pianist.

Second track at 3.03 is a recurring theme in Stanley Kubrick's last film, "Eyes Wide Shut" starring Tom Cruise and Nicola Kidman

Very interesting interpretation of the meter for Musica Ricercata: II. I enjoyed your passion for the piece.

IX reminded me so much of Olivier Messiaen and his Catalogue d'Oiseaux.

I wonder what baroque and romantic composers would have thought of ligeti’s music

Very well done, mate! Congrats!!!
Sometimes a tiny biiiit to emotional for my taste (sometimes i missed the poker face, especially in the mechanic parts); but all in all meaningful performance! Thanks for sharing

You have extracted every bit of nuance from these pieces. Congratulations! (I couldn't care less about "good" taste... which wins over few
hearts and no wars.)

Hi Roman, it’ David from Rome, very good listening your performance, i love your way to «feel» Ligety works! Do you play some pieces of George Crumb too?
Bye 👋🏻
