Controlled Quantum Levitation on a Wipe'Out Track

Here is a short footage on our recent work on quantum levitation. We were inspired by the game Wipe'out to do our work. With this new technology, we hope to revolutionize the world of motor transport; Maybe in a near future we could assist to a real Wipe'out race.

For those wondering whether this is real or not, it is. The ships levitate using something called the meissner effect. When certain ceramics are super cooled, they can "float" in a magnetic field. Those mini Wipeout ships would have been made of such a ceramic, with a little reservoir in the middle for liquid nitrogen to keep the ship cool
