Crazy to think Hurricane Sandy occured exactly 10 years ago now. I live in New Jersey and I had just begun my senior year in high school when this all happened. Where I live we were without power for almost 2 whole weeks! This hurricane was seriously NO joke.

The Mid Atlantic is subsiding due to the geological processes since the last ice age, then the weight of the infrastructure/the cities, coastal erosion and groundwater extraction all in combination makes sea level rise effect like the ocean is rising and coming in.. Low areas will continue to flood and in storms like this or Ian etc the ocean will always come in.. So what is each State/City doing about the infrastructure? There will be others..
