Would you still get full marks for using the alternative method? (as in 1+nx+n(n-1)/2!(x^2)+...)

and why have you included (-3x)^0 straight away, isnt this mentioned in the second term, to the power of 1?

Dont we have to divide by 2 first? since the expansion only works when the first term is 1? Thought you did this in one of ur tutorials
