Hi, I'm new, only found you about a week ago. I'm really enjoying what I've seen. I'm also single, 58 and no children. I was working abroad, got cancer, came home and I'm now embracing life again. Thanks for the positive introduction of life in middle age.

Jo, just discovered you, and loving it so far! I can’t claim to be middle aged - unless I live to be 148 (maybe a bit too ambitious). I am, however, single, childless, and loving it. I live in Spain - not in a villa with a pool, but in an apartment where all of my neighbours are Spanish or Catalan, and not at all wealthy. I am living the best life. You know what I mean. So happy I found you on UTUBE, many thanks!

After hearing that intro I have to sub, I too have no security etc. & it's so easy to feel like you're the only one not rolling in it, living in a architecturally designed home with the perfect family etc. You're outlook gave me such a boost, have to support you! Hi jo, please don’t give up on the blow drying, I know that with practice you can do it. I dread to think what you are spending a week on two blow drys. Jo if you can’t do the dryer, brush thing I know it’s a bit tricky, buy yourself a one step, it’s a brush and hair dryer all in one, you can purchase one on Amazon, give it ago and please let me know how you get on. The cost of this dryer is no more than 2 blow drys and you only have one appliance to tackle instead of a hairdryer and a brush. Good luck, seriously invest in this and save those pennies. X

Oh Jo, you are such breath of fresh air. I love your positivity, and I think what you are doing here is truly special. I am 48 now and like you I have worked in radio for a while now. I started my YouTube channel a couple of years now, but I'm only recently paying more attention to building it. I have had many second thoughts, and have often asked myself if I am too old to be doing it as the platform is over-saturated with people barely out of nappies! Good luck to them, but I love what I do so I've stayed at it. I look forward to seeing where you go next. How exciting! X

I don’t know how I found you, but after I watched your Intro, I. too, had to subscribe. I’m across the pond and am a former TV anchor and actress. We have differences. I’m married with children and probably could be your grandmother ( I’m 80 and closer to 81).
