Andrew Ross Sorkin, New York Times columnist and the founder and editor at large of DealBook, moderates a conversation with Senator Elizabeth Warren on the 2008 financial collapse, which rocked the markets, unraveled the housing market and upended the lives of millions of Americans. The duo, who are two of the country’s leading experts on the collapse, come together for a rare and candid conversation on the 10-year anniversary marking the crisis. What safeguards have been put in place to prevent a repeat of the disaster, and which ones have already unraveled? What role does the current political climate in a far more global economy play in that dynamic?
Don’t miss this rare event with Senator Warren, who created the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau at the behest of President Obama after that crisis, and Sorkin, author of “Too Big to Fail: How Wall Street and Washington Fought to Save the Financial System — and Themselves” that chronicled it all.

This lady knows more and can think faster than anyone else on either side. She is brilliant and she is moral and just! I love Warren, she is just awesome!

Kind of typical that there are so few views!
This is totally worth a full watch for EVERY American!

This conversation is why she is smart! I pray for her every day. I hope she achieves her heart's desire.

She is so phenomenal. When she runs, she’s going to have a group of devoted voters who are passionate about her worldview.

Liz Warren is so smart and full of energy, so thoughtful and civil ... she is a genius

Did anyone actually watch this? Seems to me that people saw her name and pushed the flawed narrative about her. Not a single thoughtful comment about her policy. Makes no sense. What are you trying to accomplish? Who are you tring to convince?

Sorkin is so agitated that people want to hear what Warren has to say - and don't give a damn about his BS Conservative narrative.

37:52 Well, this IS the Times Talks. What's better than us talking while New York Times shuts up and listens for once?

I find it really annoying how Sorkin keeps holding his hand out, as if to push Warren down or away or dismiss her opinions. Look here at 4:49, 7:02, 7:41 .... he does this throughout the entire interview ... because he is totally full of hot air. Warren should say something or smack him upside the head.

Should have asked her about her 2007 interview, and such a different story about being "fired for being pregnant" than what she's concocted on the campaign trail now.

What's the matter NYT, can't ask hard questions of Democrat politicians?

Does anyone know if she ever applied for a casino licence?

WE NEED SENATORS FOR THE POOR TO BECOME SPORTS CAR SALESMEN, TO CELEBRITIES, SPORTS FIGURES, BILLIONAIRES, SO THAT WHEN THE SUCKERS BUY 'EM, (NOT AWARE THAT THEY WILL NEVER SELL OR TRADE IN FOR ANYTHING), THESE SENATOR-CAR SALESMEN CAN DISTRIBUTE THE PROFITS AMONG THE UPWARD MOBILITY MOTIVATED POOR .
