Figured it out guys, It wasn't working for me on the app, it wouldn't go past the 'turn on your console and sign in' I had to go into my settings on the actual xbox and turn on remote features/access - It has an option to allow the app!

Something else people don’t notice, is it’ll still say “set up console” even if setup. I kept hitting that not realizing it was already working. You can still hit the function options. I was slow thinking they were options available once you do setup.

On your xbox app, head onto my library, select consoles and select your console and then select remote play on this device.

I did every step and my app just gets stuck at the ' turn on your console and sign in with your account ' my console is on and im signed in. Both devices are on the same wifi as well. This is terrible that i have to look up these videos instead of it just working...

When u first get the app it shows sign in or enter a code but I can't find the code on my xbox where is it

If you’re struggling guys, disable remote features, try the set up wizard again on your mobile app and it should work. I got a different log in screen that let me proceed without the stupid tv code thankfully, it just said my gamertag and to turn the console on and enable remote features, it actually set up and connected properly to my console before i even switched it on. I then turned said switch on on the xbox and DONE! Hope this helps brothers 😀😎🙌🏻

It works if you've already set it up, but he didn't show you how to setup a NEW console, nobody needs instructions on a console they already have linked to the app.

Mine was stuck at “login to your profile” on the phone. What your need to do it go to the “Remote features” on your Xbox and enable them! After it run its test and if still not working, than while your on the “login to profile” on the phone, disconnect the remote features, than just enable them and once you disable it than immediately
Enable it, it will pop up on your phone

Mine was once connected to, now it isn’t and I suddenly can’t use discord anymore. They just won’t detect each other at all anymore idk wtf to do lol.

Anyone having trouble with connecting...if you are using a wired connection, disconnect the ethernet cord, and connect your phone and xbox to the same wireless network. Thats what did the trick for me.

What is the difference between adding an existing consul and a new one? What is that doing? I have a Consul I've been playing with for a few years. I've never used this app. Do I set it up as a new Xbox? Will it wipe all my s*** or do I set it up as a existing one as I've had it for a while?

I go to the console and I sign in and it doesn't do anything it doesn't change nothing and if you see everybody else is having the same problem because they're watching that same spot over and over and over again you are leaving some steps out right there something is wrong right there and it's with you

Remote Play almost never works for me. I have to factory reset my Xbox. Remote Play will work for a few weeks, then stop working again. Then I gotta factory reset again. So frustrating
