It's hilarious how people with less then 50 bucks can make perfect versions of the original comic suits from years ago in the golden ages, while billion dollar companies today can't even get the good ones so the use the shitty ones as an excuse. Funny right? 🤣

It's so weird that we're living in a time where major entertainment companies want to make people and even well established characters look androgynous.
It's especially concerning when these decisions lead to huge revenue loss time and time again but they do it again. These people arent looking to make money but instead push "the message."

The Batgirl of Burnside costume is one of Barbara's awful costumes that fans despise due to the fact that it replaced the much better New 52 Gail Simone armored Batgirl costume which made a lot more sense because Barbara did not want to get shot again

the point for this suit is it’s her homemade/starter suit so year one eventually when she is accepted by bruce she’ll get a new suit (no clue if it’ll be in the end of the first one maybe) so it makes sense for it to look cheap (apparently the jacket she uses as her suit is a literal jacket turned inside out lmao) so we will just have to wait nd see. Looks fine for her year one so im looking forward to it.

It doesn't look like the suit provides her with much protection if she is to fight bad guys who most likely want to kill her with weapons (guns and knives) and this is where believability and realism comes in.

It doesn't look like there's any armoured parts for protection except maybe the mask.

This is year one batgirl but I have also seen year one Robert Pattinsons batman and he has padding and armoured parts that show that he will be up against people who will use weapons on him (it's believable for the crime fighting situation). I know he's rich and can afford it but if this is year one batgirl, meaning she isn't a fully experienced crime fighter, then she definitely should have protection in her suit.
It's only the experienced crime fighters that can afford to subtract some suit protection for extra mobility.
And again I know this is comic accurate for 'one' of her many suits that could have been chosen, but in the comics male superheroes also wore tights and that doesn't exactly fly in the real world.

I don't know what happen with Hollywood and comic industry they have to womenize everything sidelines all the heroes from the past, they running out of ideas or pushing an agenda ....that's why don't spend my time and money on this kind of things and by the way the third episode about boba Fett those power rangers bikes and characters was terrible

The Batgirl of Burnside run was awful
And it lasted way too long. A genuine criticism of the Run was how obnoxious they made Barbara and how they essentially De-Aged her a mature adult woman in her mid-to-late 20s to a teen to who gets toxicated while fighting crime and then pukes in public which then gets uploaded to the internet.

Rumors suggest that this isn't her final costume and that she will get a new one in the middle of the movie made by Michael Keaton's Bruce Wayne that will resemble her new 52 costume.

Another problem with the Batgirl Of Burnside era was the annoying cringe hipster twitter tone the book had that drove fans away to Babs & Dinah's friendship being poorly written/handled to her villains being terrible & cringeworthy
