I have a concern about fragment fusion - it is all in. With the regular fusion, if you fail on 1 step, you have your epics that can be playable. Here, if you fail, you will be sitting on 90 fragments that do nothing for you.

This is pretty transparent monetisation. People don't do the events during fusions because they already have everything they already need in advance in the vault. This forces everyone to do every event.... and spend, spend spend.

It will be a harder fusion than normal because you can’t have any of the champs early. It will be even more irritating when you pull her 2 days after fusing her.

I believe it will be simply impossible fusion for f2p or even mediumpaying players. Thats for sure. If they are going to make fusion from shards, this means we are supposed to clear probably 80%+ of events if not all the events for 100 shards. crazy. And im sure it will be like that, because shes an incredibly worth champion. *Pay 200$+ for energy and shards and maybe you will finish all events and get her*

Hot take : Fragments is a way for plarium to NOT release new heroes, and block people who save rares/epics from fusing easily on day one.

Yeah, this kinda sucks. They figured out everyone is hoarding champs for fusions. Now we will have to spend $$ to do every fusion. Another kick in the teeth to the player base. Have t fixed cheats but fixed fusing.

I wish as a community we could all get together and do something together to make a statement. Idk for example no one logs into the game for one day all on the same day or no one fuses this champ but ofcourse it would never work. Its just frustrating because everytime we load up youtube we have to hear about how plarium up to some nefarious plan.

I’m suspicious... is this an end to traditional fusions? You know the fusions involving the hundreds of epic dupes I’ve got sitting in my vault that I’ll never use, which I keep and use during fusion events?

Those old events don’t make as much money (dupe epics) so have the switched to this pay to play event? I’m convinced that’s their plan... when they first touted this shard thing I thought it would be a slow grind over months, seems it’s a quick fire buck makers instead.

screws over F2P. doing all events wont be possible. Been saving all my rares for next fusion. only got Kantra because i had some rares up my sleeve.

May be early to complain, but I agree with the other comments. P has never made any adjustment that has been generous. The only saving grace of fusions was having a few champs. The events are impossible F2P w/o having units because you had to pick and choose how to invest resources.

Raid got smart and figured out that a lot of people have the champs they need to fuse in the vault already and they where not making any money off it. So this is their answer to that problem. Looks like it will not matter if you have champs already if they go this way.

I am medium pay player. Started this game a couple of months ago. I spend like £0.99 for the shard some days and very rarely £20.00 for some void shards. After last fusion I realised that I need a shed loads of ascended champs in vault in order to have a chance for fusion. So I started lvl up champs to 40 and collecting potions for future. Finally I have quite a load of dupe champs and few potions. I started to feel confident. Then this BOOM! It looks for me that I will be not able to do all events as I my champs are to week to complete some events and for example Summoning Rush cost me money that I am NOT willing to spend for 5 fragments. I already can see that this champion is beyond my reach. This happening again, champion that could help me progress is beyond my reach cos I'm to weak to progress!?

One kinda cool thing is that her ally attack ability is a 3 turn cool down when booked, versus 4 turns on Catacomb Councilor, Lanakis the Chosen, and Longbeard.

The 2 important parts of this are event difficulty and how often they will make fragments available for the same champs. Since we can keep the fragments forever, they could be saved until a different event which would make collecting them kinda ok. That depends heavily on how often we will get the chance to collect said fragments though.

The best method would be to drop 10-25 fragments from various events after the main release of said champion so we can finish it a month or two later if we didn't do it the first time around. If they don't do that we will need the events to be easier than fusions.
