It's time to take old furniture and make it new! My garage is full of our old furniture that is no longer my style and I'm finally starting to refinish and update what we have to fit into my current decor style. A lot of the furniture is great quality, it just may not be what I'm looking for right now.

Updating the bottom half of this hutch and turning it into a modern sideboard that perfectly fits our family room took a bit longer than I thought it would, but I'm so happy with the result!

Next time, if you're going to paint, then using the same caulk you used for in between the dowels (half-round molding) to fill the holes is quick and it dries fast. You can caulk and paint an hour later. Just have to use an acrylic paintable caulk - paint won't stick to silicone caulks.
