Toews nets two late goals in 72 seconds to force OT

Even when the Hawks lose playoff games and series, it tends to be like this. They do something crazy and take a bite out of the other team, and it takes everything to beat them, and the victory feels like a loss. This one is a great example. My other fave is the 2011 team, facing the awesome Canucks team as an 8 seed, came back from down 3-0 in the series to force a game 7 OT. Took a bite out of them. Put the fear of God into them. The only time the Hawks have gone down easy in the playoffs the past 6 seasons was 2012 to Arizona. The Hossa cheap shot took the life out of them. Every other year it's been either a championship (10, 13, 15), or a game 7 OT loss (11, 14).

My dad and I were riding in the car to get sushi when the end of the game was on. I turned on the radio. Toews scored once and my dad stopped to get gasoline for the car while I waited to listen to the radio. Then Toews scored again and I leapt out of the car, hugged some random guy pumping gasoline, and ran inside and screamed "SCORE!" at my dad.

I have a feeling the Hawks and Rangers are both coming back in their series with both teams winning game 7 and going to the cup. Just have a gut feeling. I don't know if it will happen but don't doubt it.

Realistically the Hawks played great after that first period. We still have a chance to take it to 7 tomorrow at home and we have proved earlier in the series we can win in Anaheim. Just a bad break in OT I have faith they will come ready to play tomorrow night! Let's Go Hawks!
