The Flaherty deal also turned out pretty damn good for the Tigers too. Got Trey Sweeney who was huge down the stretch filling in at SS, and Thayron Liranzo who was crushing baseballs in the minors after being traded. A win-win trade imo.

Marc is the Barry Bonds of hating on the Guardians. Lane Thomas was a top 2/3 addition made at the deadline, also got Alex Cobb for nothing, who made a few decent starts

Padres had the best trade deadline just sucks they could not make it to the World Series those bats went very silent in the last game versus the dodgers in which the dodgers would obviously go on after that game to win it all I think if and only if the padres were able to get the bats going we would have had a chance to at least go the World Series but maybe next year will be better 🤔

Aw man was looking forward to hearing you rip the Red Sox. Their acquisitions were all painfully bad

Lane Thomas for my Guards ends up feeling like when they traded for, at the time, my favorite outfielder Jay Bruce. good power bat that struggles to make contact sometimes. still very much worth it

I can’t stand being a pirates fan. Even when we buy at the deadline, we do it wrong.

Damn, I wish it was 2014, then I'd have been able to see my O's actually win a game in the playoffs.

In Gregory Soto’s defense, he got screwed by the umpires before giving up those home runs. Also, in his final about 10 starts, he didn’t give up a single run.

And that’s why the Mets had the best trade deadline in the year 2014!

Ummmm lane Thomas cooked in the regular season and had one of the most RBI’s in the month of September

Any trade can’t be fairly evaluated based on a few weeks performance. Let’s see how they have turned out in a couple of years before deciding whether the trade was good or bad.
