Thank you for your response. My problem is my design space does not look like what is being shown. I’m having a hard time finding things because the screen looks so different. I can’t use my computer for another week so I’ve been using my iPad and iPhone. Hopefully on the actual Mac it will be more like what I’m seeing on uTube videos. I got a Joy as a Mother's Day gift and is excited about it. Tried writing a thank you note with a cut out heart.
The heart was cut out over some of the writing. However, the canvas shows the note as I wanted it.
Need help learning how to print and cut in the same project correctly.

I am going to buy a Cricut; I have always wanted one. I am still torn over which one to buy. I always make homemade cards, scrapebook, and also, I am a teacher needing large letters a lot. Can the Air 2 make cards just like the Joy? If I wanted really big designs/letters, I think I have to go with the Air because I think it can fit 12x12 paper, no? Thank you.

How often do you have to change to a new mat...and a new blade? I find the I have to change the mat often and now I am finding that I have to change the blade also. I have tried all the tricks with the foil, extra pressure, changing the blade was finally the thing that worked.

What settings do you use when you are doing the writting portion for the card. What settings In design space do you select so it comes out space correctly also like font size, type of paper choice, paperstock what etc. Essentialy what options should I choose, please. Thank you in advance.

Angie, have you had any problems with your cards not cutting out with even margins along the card? I have the card at the top of the mat and pushed all the way over. Thank you!
