Picture this, I was a kid in 1990, like all the other kids, just watched the cartoon after school..Then I go to the movies and this scene starts. Those drums echoed in the theatre, the music was intense, and the unveiling of shredder with sharp blades on his head and shoulder armour. This scene will always play in my head and is still the best entrance of any villain period.

Deleted scene had Shredder sit on the rolled out mat, holding a bandana, 4 goons had to attack and take the bandana. He sliced em all up. Then he inducts the new foot member.

First time I heard Makuta’s voice in Bionicle the Movie in 2003, I thought it was Shredder doing his voice.

I know arty farty people gonna judge me and call me low-brow …but THIS IS one of the best introduction scenes of a villain in cinema history. it’s still gives me chills. The dramatic light work at the beginning, chromatic shine of his armour, his imposing figure, the tembre of voice acting the rhythm..the metal riff …this scene is so so well done.Whoever directed it - thank you for my amazing childhood.

The scenes here, along with the previous scenes in a gaming lounge with a skateboarding ramp and in a combat gym are what made the interior of the Foot Clan hideout look bigger than the outside view of it.
