Either a defective engine or most likely was a very bad tuning, EA825 ( RS6/7 C8, S8 D5, Urus etc..) support around 1050-1100hp in stock internals...
The reason was probably the stock turbos ( since is they're hp limits ) and im happy that nothing happened to you, since those type of situation can end up very bad..

Ive heard that RS6s have issue with some little oil filters for the turbos. Check Matt Armstrongs videos.

Hell nah that engine is toast, you can hear it gain load and vibrate more until it straight up stops.
