I remember I had a patient that was close to death. The person was sleeping in those last days. I went into the room to bathe them as they slept. I ran the soapy wash cloth over their skin and I turned their forearm over to wash the underside of their arm and I will never forget seeing those tattooed numbers on their arm. I just wanted to cry. It all became so real to me. Not just something we read about in history books. I looked at the photos on their night stand of their beautiful children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. I thought how grateful I was for them that they had somehow escaped that horror and went on to live a wonderful life.

You brought so much clarity after losing my son in tragic accident in Switzerland snowboarding. He was an amazing man, successful and happy. He build Kindly a chatbot company in norway on his own. He was taken away from me at the age 5 by my ex from Iran. I found him at the age 16. I live in Canada and will start writing my book based on my experience from a very different place now. I am so grateful for coming across you. From the bottom of my heart ❤️ i love you

I read her book The Choice I loved it so much I kept taking notes of her word and expressions. I was angry I was sad I felt in disbelieve. But she was just an exceptional human being. I wish I could be 1/10th of her humanity. I just hope many people can read it.
