Favorite Mana Wastes moment:
-Druid: Alright, we are in the mana wastes, so limit your casting while here.
-Pirate: No problems. Hey, I got a scratch in that scufflw a few minutes ago.
-Druid: No problem, 1 sec (casts cure lt)
- Mana Wastes: Energy explodes from the druid, thowing everyone back 20ft and leaving them stunned for 2 rounds.
-Druid: oops.

I have a place somewhat similar to this in my Homebrew (only much more dangerous) called The Borderlands. Definitely worth including places like it, even if you're not using Golarion as you setting.

About firearms: I'm perfectly willing to include them as artisanal objects, created by dedicated craftsmen and thus limited in numbers and certain capacities (excluding those granted to them by gunslinger or gun-wielding archetype abilities). Mass production of firearms is the kind of thing that ends you up with a whole different setting, really fast, and unless you're willing to switch to Deadlands or some gestalt with Starfinder, then that's a no-go.
