4 player team for nightmare:
1)Survivalist
2)Conductor
3)High roller
4)Iron clad or miner for time
Survivalist is even more OP in this gamemode since you don't regen passively and you stay at that health untill you decide to regen. In that timeframe, you deal a lot more damage.

Zombie should have its eating passive where each type of enemy gives a different buff. Like imagine if eating a vampire gives a snake oil effect then it solves the issue of not being able to use snake oils

I would put miner much higher like top 4 cuz spawn with 2 coal is already good and saving 70 dollars at start can give u weapon with around 70 ammo which is enough for a not the biggest town
and pickaxe... You can go without raiding ANY HOUSES by just farmming coal and still farmming huge money for a game start in seconds by farmming gold and silver
With new update miner became top 3 class for me

in my opinion, vampire is top three in nightmare, as he is built on life steal rather than passive regen, so getting rid of the passive heal dosen't effect him for me personally

i beat nightmare mode with my friend sub 30 mins speedrun
my class: conductor
my friend: alamo
starting coal (with bonds): 14 coal
rest of money: buy 3 bandages and coal for the rest (should have 18 coal or so)
stop only for tesla (to sell the brain and gold and silver) and sell them on the next outpost to buy AS MUCH SNAKE OIL AS POSSIBLE.
alamo will surround the train with defenses (use the newspapers too) while conductor keeps driving the train and constantly filling 2 coal every 10km
after reaching end, pull the lever and go back in train and camp (gg)

also with this strat u can get pacifist quest, no deaths quest and escape quest

you do not need to buy any guns, and keep driving at night. do not stop

nah i glaze vampire a lot and i gotta admit it’s actually trash in this gamemode but personally i think it should be 1 or 2 places higher cause u guys saw how he was cooking up that town

Not having zombie here is criminal. The hp from eating zombies is actually really good on nightmare mode

4:55 the miner is actually amazing because you can skip towns or houses just to get to mining

U go faster and start with 2 coal.

3) High roller
U can buy bandages 9) or even 4 coals.

4) Vampire
U can spin around when your with a combat. and u slash ti will instantly regen you
Its best for night)

5) Cowboy
Starts with a revolver and 2 ammos of revolver
He also starts with a horse which is the best class ever for pony express.

6)Miner X Ironclad
You can instantly break ores with this
Ironclad does alot because he spawns with full armor
The only thing bad about ironclad is the -10% speed.

7) Doctor
This is the worst class in the entire game if u solo.
One of the best if multiplayer

8)Arsonist
Still great but bad for this mode.

9) None
The worst one for this mode.

10) Priest
Its great for normal but bad as hell in this mode.

Zombie class is objectively shit in normal mode, but in nightmare mode….oh hoho is it STRONG!

Here’s some reasons,

Loot, more accurately heals (bandages and snake oil), are much more scarce, (and you can’t use them) so while the numbers of those have decreased, the numbers of enemies haven’t, easily allowing you to eat the pile of dead body’s there is gonna be after raiding a town/fortress/castle/lab is going to be more than enough healing.

You take more damage, so heal, there’s a lot of enemies that spawn and your gonna be roughed up after those fights, so using your passive (the intended purpose is for it to heal AFTER fights)
Heal that damage that you couldn’t heal passively.

Passive healing? Never heard of it. Passive healing is GONE completely in this game mode, honestly this is a huge downside, but using the Divided Pile Strat, where you separate body’s into Food, Fuel, Money and change their places depending on what body and what fits your needs COMPLETELY makes this way easier to cope with.

Most of the time your gonna play with a team, who will play dmg classes such as survivalist, or supporting classes, such as doctor or conductor, THEY ARE PRIORITIZED FOR HEALS, you weren’t going to need the heals because of their priority, you probably aren’t going to gain access to them regardless. Zombie IS a selfish class after all, your team IS always priority.

STEALTH! Raiding towns using the horse glitch or dynamite OR having the code to break into banks, you aren’t going to attract a horde of zombies unlike other classes, your only non-selfish role as a zombie IS to raid banks because of your passive stealth.
