Respect went way up for the AirPods choice. I don't own them, but the combination of sound quality, comfort, and absolute portability is honestly unprecedented and they really haven't gotten their due in the audio community for the simple fact that they're consumer-oriented.

I'm with you on the DT1990, I love that one and for that price, it's really hard to beat. Got the Focal Elegia to have a closed option, but I'm always coming back to the 1990, Elegia just sounds wrong side by side to 1990. (IMHO, of course)

Got my DT 1990 Pros for 385€ from Beyerdynamics outlet. Like new, really cool. Owned 880s and 650s. Heard the Argons at a friends. Totally agree with your ranking.

I’m kind of glad AirPod Pros made it on. I know most would snobbishly overlook them and not that they’re audiophile grade but they’re good, they’re easy, and they work well.

I have Andromeda’s but sometimes it’s just easier to bust out my AirPod Pros for more casual listening or watching videos.

DT 1990's are under $500 you just have to check out the buying options on Amazon to see what sellers are selling it at. I paid $450 and they were brand new in box.
