President Trump is defending the U.S. airstrike that killed top Iranian General Qassam Suleimani. Mr. Trump also said that the U.S. will pull troops out of Iraq "at some point," but now is not that point. They won't leave until they have control of Iran's oil by one means or another. Iran is the 4th larges oil producer. Controlling the flow of that oil so they can manipulate the price is the goal. The recent events have all been applied to prod Iran into a war. The strike against Iran personnel that triggered the embassy siege and then the killing of their top general to trigger an even bigger attack on U.S. assets.
