9/10...I don't believe that I ever encountered "Operation Iceberg." As a 78 year old WW2 buff, it's always good to run into new information. Stay safe everyone. Be kind to each other...peace.

Actually an expert on the Eastern Front David Glantz has said that there were more tanks involved at the Battle Of Brody also known as the Battle Of Dubno than at the Battle Of Kursk. It was fought in the first chaotic days of the invasion.of the Soviet Union.

9/10 Battle of Okinawa, Operation Ice..I went with cube. It was Iceberg. I was stationed on Okinawa with the 3rd Marine.

10/10 i liked the Singapore question. Its not discussed or talked about much. It was the largest capitulation in British military history--all because they built their big gun emplacements pointed the wrong way. I never understood why they couldnt just turn them around! There are some great history buffs here. Perhaps someone could explain that to me. They had what, over 90, 000 men at Singapore? How hard could that have been?
