Absolutely based, hadrosaurs arent just carnivore meat, they could beat most of their predators

That pic of the rex ripping the head off of a trike is truly terrifying I really shows that irl Dino’s are still terrifying

Hadrosaurs are very underrated they’re on average the biggest animal in there ecosystems if a sauropod isn’t around

If the edmontosaurus is significantly larger then a single average sized rex i think that the edmontosaurus would probably be able to fend off the rex but if they are similar sizes the rex would definetly turn the edmontosaurus into its next meal

Edmontosaurus wins 45% of the time due to the fact it isnt as well adapted to kill t.rex as the rex Is. However the t.rex still will get killed often

well, idk if someone pointed it out but a ednontosaurus or any other animal needs to be adapted to kill their predator, just to avoid or turn unattractive to it.
Hadrosaurus are still walking meat walls but their predators are adapted to break those walls, but those walls can fight or flight, without needing to kill the said predator, and predators usually kill more prey than the opposite. in a face to face confrontation it really depends on the size of each and how hungry the predator is, if the ed is smaller and the rex is hungry enough it will go for the kill (prob winning it) but a similar size or bigger ed would be really scary to go on face to face, and predators don't actually seek for deadly fights, they just kill to survive so yeah, to kill a bigger (or even smaller ones, since they were prob faster than a adult rex, not counting their olfat, since it would be harder to get close) edmontosaurus a rex would need a good ambush.
but a rex would still win in a fully engaged fight, since it is more equipped to kill than a edmontosaurus, but if the rex does not want a serious injury, the ed would win if it is equal or bigger thsn said rex.

A full grown T. rex could measure to 40-45 ft long. With that they would target Young-Adult Edmontosaur. However, genetically mutated tyrannosaurs could measure to 45-51 ft long. They were much bulkier than a normal rex. That would allow them to target Full grown Edmontosaur, but normal sized rexen could never take down a full grown Edmontosaur.

The average Edmontosaurus was 4 meters tall and weighed between 8 to 9 tons The largest Edmontosaurus weighed 15 tons and was almost 5 meters tall and the length was 14 meters

In my opinion t-rex wins by bitting edmontosaurus in the leg with his 5 ton bite force and killing it by bitting him again but this time in the neck breaking it so easily

As much as I would prefer Edmonto to win in this fight I’d give it to Rex 99% of the time. No Edmonto is not defenseless but T.Rex has to eat something or else it would die off. There is also paleontological evidence of Rex’s preying on Edmontosaurs. Edmonto could definitely hold its own but would rarely win this fight.
