That’s a really good description of waygu. The difference w/ regular beef is so more more textural than flavor to me.

i salmon sashimi. i got some at the local japanese restaurant and i havent been able to stop eating it since i graduated HS. i definitely want to plan a trip to Japan. i am going to Mexico first for the summer to practice cooking there and explore. Japan is next for sure.

I think the fatty tuna has more marble in it. But I’m not a pro so I don’t know but with meat, usually more white means fattier. Absolutely love your videos though and personality. Don’t change a thing! You’re killing it

I love the daifuku I had at that Tsukiji market. I can't find anything that rivals mochi in Japan after returning back to Los Angeles, and we have many Asian and Japanese communities here too.

When a food has enough fatty texture that you can see the actual difference that's the one with more fat, they looked delicious 😋

I’m not a professional by any means so please don’t take my word for it but I believe if the meat/fish has more like ‘white’ marbling or lots of white streaks in it, it’s more fatty. If it’s mostly just red/pink/orange it’s more lean ????
