I think it's better to watch these videos when it's an overcast day and you can see the clouds in the background for reference, it really shows how fast the aircraft is moving during the demo. This dude knows how to push the 29 to the limit. That's one of the most aggressive displays I've seen from a mig. Well done!

I've always thought of the mig 29 like a cross between the F15 and the F18

I onced watched a documentary on western pilots flying this plane. The American pilot said " buy an F 16....it's a better plane " ...what he failed to understand is that on paper the F 16 has better reliability and tech but the MiG 29 is a better " flying aircraft " . He knew that but couldn't say it. The MiG 29 can simply outfly the F16.

Just like when American soldiers wear the US flag on one shoulder facing forward and the other shoulder facing " mirror opposite " but always with the stars of the flag facing forward...not behind or rearward. Because the US flag is never allowed to show defeat.

EVERYTHING a US military person says and does MUST reflect victory. Even if it isn't true.

Most maneuverable dog fighter by far. Too bad that dog fighting in the sky is something out of history books. Today's fighters fire missiles at each other from 30 miles away, without ever seeing each other.
