Does the insurance cover mechanical failures, power surges, defects after equipment warranty ends?

I didn’t catch this if it was mentioned, but what about lost gears? Assuming it wasn’t stolen but left somewhere and was not recoverable (ie. not there anymore when we tried to retrieve it).

Hello, do you cover over water/underwater if camera gear is used over water (such as cruises) or underwater (such as shallow-water shoots at the beach with protective camera housing)?

I am an amateur and have upwards $20, 000 photography equipment. Having just retired I plan to travel abroad minimum twice a year. I am concerned about theft. Would I be able to have my equipment insured even though J am not a professional?

I heard Full Frame doesn’t cover theft. That’s wild.

Actual Cash Value = Takes depreciation into account and provides coverage up to the current market value of the item.
"Full Frame Insurance covers your gear for Actual Cash Value". Translated: Full Frame Insurance does NOT cover your gear at its original price.
Did anyone else catch this???
