STOP ASKING PEOPLE TO SUBSCRIBE / Grow Your YouTube Channel in 2021 #youtubechannel

Показать описание
Should you ask people to subscribe in your YouTube videos? Or just leave a button that pops up?
You naturally want to grow your channel, and you may be hoping that YouTube will generate some decent money for you.
Maybe you're looking to promote your YouTube channel, and you've seen many other videos where the creator asks explicitly: "please subscribe and hit that bell notification."
So, doesn't it make sense to ask people to subscribe to your channel?
In this video, I'm giving 5 reasons why asking people to subscribe may not be a good idea in 2021.
Subscriber count isn't the best indication of the success of a channel. And especially when your channel is small, as you're getting to your first 100 or first 1000 subscribers, focusing on the subscriber count could be distracting both you and your viewers.
There are a lot of metrics on YouTube that matter more than subscriber count. Metrics, such as average watch time and average watch percentage.
Watch the video and see if you agree about the subscriber count being more of a distraction than a legitimate goal to aim for.
