These come with elastic laces, don't work with normal ones, you can't slip your feet in. For such a simple thing you got it all wrong there.

You need to use these locks with "elastic" shoelaces. Not normal shoelaces.

Fyi: these are great for adult feet and older mildly active kids shoes. I found that for younger very active kids' sneakers, they tend to "burn" the top part of your foot somehow. My son constantly complained about this until one hot day i looked at his foot and it was all red at the top. And this happened no matter how loose they were. Needless to say, we had to find an alternate way to have no-tie shoes for a while until he finally learned to tie laces.
