Funfact about Vecna's names origin; it is an anagram for Vance, as in Jack Vance, the author who wrote the dying earth series among other works, and was one of Gary Gygaxes (the creator of D&D) biggest Idols, to the point where D&D magic was originally ripped straight out from Vances works, and was known as "Vancian magic".

Vecna is one of my favorite characters. My friend 3D printed a mini for me and I bought the hand and eye of vecna replica

That’s so cool. When I was in high school I was a pretty skilled artist. I borrowed a monster manual from my friend and drew a ton of different things from it by sight. Vecna’s hand was one of them.

A campaign where vecna is an inn keeper that you run into multiple times throughout your campaign, his inn sign is a hand holding an eye and the name is The Inns Secret, he’s always making you go on a small job in return for information you need to continue the main campaign

Stranger things really nailed this one. But in appearance I think they took more inspiration from the eldritch lich from spelljammer.

I heard about a large DND game with multiple DMs and parties playing in a shared world. As I recall, one party started spreading rumors of a legendary "Head of Vecna" item that was said to be hidden deep within a dungeon. They hid a severed head in a dungeon left it for another party to find, slowly releasing hints as to it's whereabouts. Eventually another adventuring party found the fake dungeon, cleared it out, and claimed their "prize". Already being familiar with the eye and hand of Vecna, one of the party members actually decapitated himself in an attempt to equip the "magic item".
