Something that you can tell teachers and administrators who ask how learning multiple languages will help with test scores:
Looking at all statistics of students who take standardized tests across the nation
Students who know more than one language score significantly higher on standardized tests.
Students who know more than one language also earn higher degrees and more money through their lives.
That is not the path that you are recommending but it could prove materially how students' lives are enriched by languages.
It is much harder to show statistically how taking back your culture, identity, language, and relationships with family and elders helps students but this is very real and important as well.

This was a really great talk! Lots of interesting facts. One thing I thought of is how water rights could have affected the ability to grow corn and/or it is part of the major shift in American Society, as a whole, from an agrarian society to an industrial one.

Interesting if it was a Sawheli or a Kosher tribe expounding on the topic . The views & comment thread would be much more popular . Authenticity and truth is a thing of the past people don't want genuine no more just convenience and comfort INMO .
