About:
Wonder Man (Simon Williams) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Stan Lee and artists Don Heck and Jack Kirby, he first appeared in The Avengers #9 (October 1964). The character, who was initially introduced as a supervillain imbued with "ionic" energy, fought the Avengers and after a series of events, he was reborn as a superhero joining the team against which he originally fought. In 2012, Wonder Man was ranked 38th in IGN's list of "The Top 50 Avengers".

That's the problem with Hollywood, they want to do justice to the black community but they are doing it all wrong, I'm sure most blacks do not have a problem with comic book heroes race swapping but there's a lot that do care, especially those that grew up reading comics and know that they there are far more black, native American, Japanese and Chinese comic book heroes and villains that Hollywood could use but instead they decided to race swap every white comic book heroe and villain just to be petty and claim it part of the story they are telling but when the movie fails, they blame everyone but the one that made the decision to race swap the characters. It doesn't take much to cast an team of heroes with the original members like casting the white male original Taskmaster along side his Hydra team mates, the same Taskmaster that trained the original white female Jessica Drew who has barely any contact with Spiderman and who also fights villains that are Avengers level threats that Spiderman would never be fighting against like the powerful villains that constantly watching Red Skull and Hyda's back.

If they wanted a Black character they should have picked an appropriate hero.

Another problem with Hollywood is that they like the comic book writers always putting Spiderman up against members of the Sinister Six rather in one on one storylines or against the team Sinister Six, tales that have been done to death, no wonder Spiderman has issues, if the writers/movie writers were smart, they would take Spiderman out of his comfort zone of constantly dealing with members of the Sinister Six and instead put him in storylines where the main villain is Cardiac, a black male lab scientist who was normal until he became the wicked villain Cardiac that gave Spiderman more than he could handle before Spiderman figure out how to beat Cardiac and then there's The Tarantula, an Italian male mercenary working for one of the South American cartels before gaining his spider powers derived from an south American spider species different than the one that bit Peter Parker and they could have the Tarantula daughter become the new and heroic Tarantula and no need to race swap anyone, since there's the black male Cardiac, white male Spiderman, Italian male Tarantula and Italian female Tarantula daughter. These stories write themselves but we know Hollywood would find a way to mess it up and still find a way to race swap one of the characters even though there's no need to.this is just of Spiderman villains that could be used in the MCU instead of constantly using members of the Sinister Six, there's also the Hobgoblin and the Jackel as well as The Cameron and let's not forget that The King Pin was originally a Spiderman first tier villain before ever becoming a deadly threat to Daredevil, yet Hollywood continues to use the Sinister Six members way too often.

I can live with a wonderman color swap. It will actually make the character more interesting and add a new dimension and depth to the role. I hate most of the character medling done by Marvel but this one can really work well if done properly without the WOKE DEI BLM BS.😊
