I think a song of ice and fire would be really good to read on a rainy day, they're so intricate and you really get immersed in the story. I'm planning on starting the third book really soon, probably on a rainy day when I have lots of time!!

I've read all of these except Aristotle & Dante, and I agree with you. They're all pretty great. To that list I would add The Ocean at the End of the Lane and Never Let Me Go :)

Before I watched the actual video, I was going to comment saying that Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe would make the perfect rainy day read! But you beat me to it. I also think The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater would be excellent for grey or stormy weather. The Game of Sunken Places by MT Anderson is another good one for rainy days.

One of my absolute books I ever read when there was a rainstorm was 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher. It just sucks you in and has this really specific atmosphere anyway so once it's raining it's just the PERFECT like... zone to read that book in.

You should add Dune by Frank Herbert to your rainy day reading list.  Dune is the quintessential science fiction book that is an extremely immersive read!  It's also just fun and ironic to read a book set on a desert planet during a rain storm :P
