whenever i hear this song, the emotions i feel are like a punch to the stomach. it's probably his best song. i mean, don't get me wrong, run boy run is epic and iron is badass, but they don't have the same kind of swarm of emotions that this one has.

There are several reasons why WOODKID's songs are so well done. His masterful use of acoustic instruments, his well defined tone and pace for each one, and how he sings. His voice is already very smooth and nice to listen to on its own, but the way he unexpectedly emphasizes certain syllables or words really adds a bit of uniqueness to the overall song.
