How to graph Natural Logarithmic Functions. We discuss how to graph the parent function natural log (y=lnx) as well as translations of of the basic graph. We discuss the domain and range as well as the vertical asymptote in this video. Also the relationship between y=e^x as the inverse of the natural log and how to construct a table of values.

1:00 How to Create a Table for y=ln(x)
1:18 What is the Approximate Value of e
2:40 Domain and Range of y=ln(x)
2:50 Graph y=ln(x-3)+1 Shifting the Graph

Again, you have given a clear, concise, and effective explanation of something that I couldn't find anywhere else. THANK YOU! I don't get how there are other math channels with more views.

Thank you so much, this is the clearest and easiest to understand video I’ve found so far on natural logs 🙏 Now I’m not going to fail my test!

I graphed h(x)= lnX on the test with points all laid out, also i checked the graph with my graphing calculator, I graphed it really close to the y=0 as my vertical asymptote, but never toches it.. However, my professor marked me wrong n only gave me a partial credit for that problem. I asked him why, and he replied with "you shouldn't graph it too close to the vertical asymptote ". This situation happened to most of the students from my class, so i m guessing my professor has his own preferences about the solution.

Hi, I made a comment on your video from 2 years ago 'factorising with fractions' (I'm thinking you probably won't see it and I desperately need help!) I'm working through an exercise to factorise algebraic fractions but they don't have common denominators (unlike your 3rd example which had common denominators) any help? Hope I explained that well enough

2:36 how is the range going on forever (all real numbers)? because it looks like its hitting a horizontal asymptote around y=3

One of the things I dont understand in maths is why In x = log base e x I would give someone a noble proize if they could explain this to me...?
