I’ve had both black and white patients say this. Usually it’s bc I’m a female and they think they’ll be able to walk all over me….😂😂😂😂😂 that’s when I hit ‘em with the nuh uh honey we are about to be respectful of each other and sorry but I’m what the agency sent and you’re lucky they sent me with as short staffed as we are. 😂😂😂😂 usually that gets them right. If not I try to win them over with there favorite treats and favorite hobby’s like sometimes dominos or coloring or a favorite book. I’ve even bought dinners before. I’ll do what I have to do for my patients to act right.
