Candy Rainbow Science Experiment:

Materials:
1. M&M candy
2. white plate
3. hot tap water

The Steps:
1. Arrange several M&M on the plate.You can arrange them in a pattern or just place them randomly on the plate to see what happens.
2. Carefully pour hot water onto the center of the plate. Add just enough to cover the bottoms of the candies.
3. Wait a couple of minutes for your masterpiece to develop.
4. Observe your creation.
The colored coating on M&M is made of sugar,which dissolves in water.As the water moves around the plate,the colored sugar moves along with it,creating brilliant patterns and rainbow.Notice how the primary colors mix to create new colors.
