NOT TRUE! The PMP exam changed in January 2021 and the PMBOK 7th edition was released in June 2021, so there were 6 months people were approving the PMP exam without the 7 edition. The exam from January has not change so you didn’t need the 7edition then and do not need it now!

It looks like the website no longer has the "6th edition" in this particular section. There's a footnote that suggests that the 7th edition will be integrated into the exam content outline in time.
