Those sounds are like the most fundamental sounds in turntablism like acoustic guitar, piano and what so ever even though it always has a same sounds. I do understand your opinion too cuz i thought it was pretty boring when i first started scratching. But those are really like a since these guys are those pioneers of this genre and those one who have developed the most, You should respect it more and if you want to hear people scratching on new sounds you can try out more of new school djs :)
