2018 UM Spring Convocation - Honorary Degree Recipient: Arnold Frieman

A survivor of the Holocaust, Mr. Frieman overcame challenging early years and worked diligently to build a successful business in his adopted community of Winnipeg. He has taken many opportunities to give back in various ways with creativity and kindness. The University of Manitoba was proud to honour him with an Honorary Doctor of Laws (honoris causa), on Friday, June 8, 2018.
