DeSatan laughed at a reporter a couple months ago when asked if Florida was ready for Hurricane Season, bragging how no hurricanes will hit Florida this year. 🙄

Last night, authorities claimed this storm will move into Florida as a Cat 1 or 2. Idalia is likely to turn into a Cat 4 by the time it reaches land.

And yet, no one is talking about Franklin on the other side of Florida. And based on air currents, it's gonna slam into the mid-Atlantic in a few days as it meets up with Idalia. Franklin is not going to veer to the NE, it will move NE for a few more days, then it's turning west. This storm is going to make the 1993 Storm of the Century look like a walk in the park. If you live along the east coast, prepare NOW.

I'm in Alabama and keep getting alerts from the Citrus County Sheriff's office. I haven't lived there in 15 years! That's dedication. Stay safe everyone.

They even have contaminated gasoline (contains diesel). That's gonna help the generators run good. Was in the news.

We need to let the old people retire from their government jobs. Time for younger sharper leaders.

Run from the water and hide from the wind? That’s the advice regarding hurricanes? Yeah, ima hide where from 70+mph winds?
Behind a tree or under my bed? Y’all aren’t into storm shelters. And, storm surges from hurricanes can increase water levels by 30 feet. Moving ashore at 10-15 mph. A 1 foot storm surge is enough to sweep cars off roads. Where am I to run to get away from the water? Ya ain’t got any high ground aka mountains to evade the H2O tidal wave. Run and hide? That’s their best advice? That bit of advice could have been gleaned from the animal kingdom. Part of our fight or flight emergency response. Love how all their phones and beepers starting trilling the emergency alert system. Yelling at ya to RUN!

I've driven to Florida for work purposes before. I love Caribbean food. But I hate the Cuban attitude there. They're just a different animal.

DeSantis is hoping Idalia will destroy Disney World. Florida, you voted a man who as personal issues. Focusing in wrong issues. Good Luck in surviving during his leadership. Florida is so pathetic.

Idalia will blow the heat out of the hot water surrounding Florida. It’s a good thing! A perfect thing! This is what they will tell their residents as their uninsured homes are washed away. The people are still dealing with damage from the last hurricane. Insurance companies are fleeing and citizens can’t do anything about it.
