Amy Adams really deserve Oscar here. Amy's performance captured the complexity of Charlene's character. On one side, she's soft, caring and supportive girlfriend. On the other side, she is tough, determined and super protective of Mikey, pretty ironic for a bar girl and a boxer. Also she was very good with comebacks.
