1. Meta Quest 3 / 2 Owners (best quality recommended):
👉On Meta Quest 3, click TV, find SAVED LINK, select "Cache High Quality" for 8K VR.
2. Non-Meta Quest VR Owners:
👉Save YouTube link in Watch Later list.
👉Download YouTube VR app on PSVR, Windows Mixed Reality, or Steam VR.
3. Phone Viewing (non-3D):
👉Download YouTube App on your phone.
👉Set resolution to 2160s or 8K (4320p) on desktop for the best viewing experience.
4. Skybox VR Player:
👉Just search this video with the title and Hugh Hou on the Skybox VR YouTube session (inside Meta Quest VR headset)

Apple immersive video format (spatial video MV-HEVC) download link is coming soon. Need to do some calibration and will need a Vision Pro to make sure everything looks great. You won't need it right now since you also won't have a Vision Pro YET (I mean most of you unless you work for Apple). I will put this up on Meta Quest TV when I get back home on Monday. The industry needs to add lenses in both long corners of ALL smartphones so everyone can record VR.

Ive been in vr since 2017 and the amount of good depth correct vr videos are still scarce. I hope vr videos like this start to proliferate as apple vision pro comes out and we get cheaper and better depth cameras, hopefully one day 180 on phones.

My Samsung APS-C NX500 has a 45mm 3D lens... if samsung didnt ditch the camera market.. things would be very different today.. they pushed so many new features out there like OLED high resolution screens, 3D lenses, on board charging, wifi, adn 4k.... stuff that 8 years later still isnt common.

64 g of ram
GeForce rtx 4090 and it still has trouble handling the 8k 180 vr clips from the R5.

Not related to the video, but I just got rx lenses for my Quest 3. That’s a game changer. Doesn’t pinch at my temples anymore and I can wear the headset for longer. This was the first video I watched with them in

This is a really great way to do reporting. I'm curious to know which fstop do you use for VR when your in darker spaces? I usually use F11 to keep as much as I can in focus but then in this case the ISO has to be 3200+, right?
