I’m glad Sony released Minecraft for the PS5. However, I own a gaming PC with an RTX 4070 Super graphics card. I might still get a PS5 one day, though.

Some of the og mash up packs don't fully function on PS5 edition. Checked out the Adventure Time mashup, and the custom soundtrack does not play. Just default minecraft ost. Works fine on the ps4 version tho smh

splitscreen is much worse on the new ps5 version, much more grainy much less sharp and the framerate tanks

0:45 I have PS4 Minecraft on disc, it said I could upgrade to PS5 version for free, but it was only a free trial. If I wanted the full version I'd need to buy it. Is it because I have it as disc or is the so called "free upgrade" just a free trial?

When I first opened the ps5 version it showed me a whole new load in screen and new menu everything was different it looked so cool then my game crashed I opened it back up and it looks like the ps4 version again. I tried saving the gameplay because I haven’t seen anyone else with that screen that I saw but it wouldn’t let me safe the gameplay!

Everyone seems pretty underwhelmed but this is honestly the same experience as pc, looks nice and runs nice now. The bedrock versions of MC are just so old and janky that not much of a difference can be made; used to be a mobile game. Even on Java, everyone needs shaders because the game can start to look boring. Also pretty sure RTX is only available through some marketplace worlds (at least on console.)

I have the xbox series x and the graphics are better and i could see further and it feels more smooth i think they have to optimize or update the game more ( im not saying which consolese is better just experience wise ) there are some bugs though like mobs in the sun or slight differences

If you go into creative and fly around. The trees and the clouds look so dam pixelated worse then what you get in the ps4

The only reason for a PS5 version of Minecraft is for a quick money gran because you know people are gonna buy it unfortunately.

Pretty damn worthless I tried the "ps5 version" and it's trash and the ps4 version is same thing no difference let's wait for ps5 java edition it's going to be good ( I hope 🙏 )
