When she dangles the dolls out the window I love to imagine her accidentally dropping it on someone's head and terrifying them

If she ever makes more steampunk dolls, a good doll to use would be monster high's Rebecca Steam

I just thought of a rough backstory for her and Ty Tanium.

Ty used to work at a place where they used steam powered energy to create machinery, but during an accident his forearm was ripped off. He created himself a new arm out of scrap metal he found on the streets, as metal was at high expense.
The place then began creating a life-size porcelain ball-jointed doll, then Ty had the idea to try and work circuits inside that doll to make her alive. Once the owner of that place found out what Ty was doing, they sent him away. However, Ty’s contraption actually worked and the doll came to life.
The doll found scrap pieces of fabric in that place and made herself a hanboc (if that’s how you spell it). She explored around the place, learning about steam energy and different types of metal, soon naming herself “Irene Oxide”.
Irene decided that life as an accessory wasn’t worth living, so she stole rare electronics and made herself a mask of her favourite animal, a bunny, and ran away. She soon bumped into Ty, who recognised her as the doll he brought to life.
Ty took Irene in and cared for her, not letting her get hurt, as she was made of delicate porcelain.

I can tell Katherine doesn’t make these just for money, but mainly for our entertainment and I can DEFINITELY tell she’s in her element in this video and I can’t express how big of a fan I am. How is it possible to love someone so much and feel like you know them even though you’ve never met them?

The copper weathering looks really good, I'm glad your husband pointed out the green oxidation! You really nailed the porcelain doll look, Irene looks very delicate.
