is he country or folk? when i first heard him, I got Bob Dillon influence, mixed in with some Bruce Springstein. granted he stands on his own, but those are just the vibes i got. i agree though, his cover of SBM is insanely good. his songwriting is inspirational. the song "i am a song" has a line, "i am the melody glued to the memory that you can't shake when it comes on" I have incorperated that into my vocab as part of the definition of a song. i can't find any other credits for this song, so if he didn't write it... my bad. i chose to believe he wrote it, regardless. ha. what confuses me is his dad asked him to sing it, and he said, "i don't don't do that." not sure if that means singing other peoples songs, or singing for others.
