Simple: Her design and the personality she gives off. Creepy, cute and insane. And depending on how the character is designed, people will go *NUTS* over that crap.

Since then, there's been no trainer class character I know that's gained a following like her. She's a favourite of mine for sure, but my other favourite is the female Poké Kid from Galar. She recently made it into Masters as well as Eve.

she's a very normal trainer class, but her design of gothic lolita makes her stand out too well!
she's a cute girl, gothic, dark, shy, introverted, and when you put her nearby .. Raven from teen titans, Mortecia and Wednesday from addams family, even creepy susie from the obolings .. danny phantom with sam??? Thorn from the hex girls from scooby doo!
our childhood showed us how gothic girls are too sexy to ignore! i think millennials were just raised on loving gothic style!

also your "waifu panetheon" ... i'd remove them all.. none of them is worthy of the title..

Haven't watched thr video yet, but ill just say why I like her. For starters, XY Hex Maniac is my favourite female design in all of fiction, a maniac for the Hex Maniac. As for why I like her, design wise she's everything I like, super goth, her crazed eyes (I know it's weird and I'm worried for my future given my liking of woman with crazed eyes), her long messy hair and so on. I'm not the biggest fan of how much people have clung to the milk aspect (if you know, you know) rather than focusing on her being what she is, that being an awkward if not crazed goth.
