great video! I just want to ask, why is it that when I try to use the uart.read(), it doesn't return something readable? it returns something like, why is this?

Why did you connect the 3.3v ouput pin of the microcontroller with the VCC of the usb to uart because it is also a ouput pin of 3.3v or 5v when it has the jumper connected, it not cause problem?, because you are connected to two different power sources

But why can't we just send the data thru direct usb connection ? Why do we need a hub ?

Hi. This is very helpful tutorial. I am currently having a doubt if the same algorithm works for communicating with an independent device (for example Incubator/heater/fridge) which sends data through RS232 port after sending a query.? I'll be using a rs232 to TTL converter module along with esp32.
