Thanks for the video. It's absurd that this basic functionality doesn't exist out of the box

The text editor doesn't have a formatting option, that's just AMAZING!

I love Google Keep and now I can get different fonts. I tried a few already and it worked. Thank you for your videos. Very helpful.

Like the other person remarked, I can't believe that Google doesn't allow formatting in it's Keep app! I've been using Samsung Notes so I'm spoiled, but there is no way to back-up your notes without using Microsoft OneNote. So I'm looking for alternatives that can be backed up. I don't think I'll be using Google keep because I just want to jot down my grocery list but I go to several grocery stores so I'd like to bold the name of the store, or use colors for important texts. I guess I'm just too lazy to use a different app and then cut and paste.

Very nice, a simple workaround that does not need browser extensions and doesn't break anything in the native app. Thank you! :)

Thank you for the eplanation on how it works and not just link the user to a web site that does the "magic" ... as many do ;) This way I can get rid of any web sites and do it on my own using unicode

Thanks for the video, till now I also kept wondering how to do the same. That's weird, how come they not add this basic functionality to their app!

I have 1000s of notes. Is there any way to do complex searches with frequency of finds where notes with the most matches come up first? I have trouble finding things.

Great tip. But NOWHERE close to easy.
Was using Notepad for a LONG time, then moved to Sticky Notes, then Keep, because SN can't import png images.
Would have gone for Evernote if sharing across more than 2 devices were free.
Now taking a deep dive to Obsidian. Looks intimidating but probably does everything the free apps fail to do.
