Astronomers Have Given Up...The Universe is NOT REAL!

Are we an illusion or is the universe real? This question has plagued both philosophers and later scientists from essentially the dawn of human intelligence. There have been many interpretations over time that challenge the reality of our universe. Some say we are part of a dream; some say that we are acting out a prewritten story like a theatrical play or a movie, and some believe that we are in a game-like simulation. And then there is also the philosophical question, what even is reality?
According to three scientists, the reality is perhaps different from the universe we live in! This year’s Noble Prize Winners, John Clauser, Alain Aspect, and Anton Zeilinger are responsible for usurping the concept of reality in our universe, as we have long acknowledged it.

Time and space are relative - the more time I spend with my relatives the more space I need

If humanity didn’t have eyes, then in our human understanding, sound would have been the fastest

I wish I had intelligent friends to personally discuss this with

I can confirm this with my daily observations. I can place an object on my table, countertop etc. It appears stable and should not fall over. The moment I turn my back, at a random interval of its choosing, the object will fall over, or end up on the floor. Initially, I believed it to be poltergeists, but I'm now convinced it's Kevin Bacon.

I wish I could somehow know all the secrets of the Universe. Even tho, I'm not sure I could handle it without going crazy or without having a brain meltdown. But nevertheless, I would be willing to risk it 🙄

I get the feeling our consciousnesses are like threads woven on a blanket, intertwined with other matter and masses.

The ancient Hindu (Indian) of Vedanta has been proclaiming this for millenia. But will anyone in the world ( apart from India) acknowledge the contribution of the ancient Indian sages? They will say Western scientists have said it for the first time in the 21st century.

when i was a child, i used to stare at the mirror and keep asking myself "am i really here? do i actually exist?" over and over. idk if i did it so long that my eyes would dry out or what but i could swear sometimes my reflection would disappear. soon as it felt like i was sliding into a different dimension per say, i would stop myself and snap back into "reality". unfortunately my brain has adapted many different ideas and been abused in ways it wasnt as a child so whenever i attempt to do this again it doesn't work out. whatever our reality is, we may never know.

I think there’s still a lot of science left to be discovered

Well, I am told so many times a week, "Oh, dad, you're unreal." My wife is no better, she says, "you can't be for real." After several years of hearing this, a video like this one feels totally normal to me. Whether the quantum leap is an instantaneous thing or not, I'm not sure, but I have seen a neuro pattern of mouse brains - which looked exactly like an astrological picture of the cosmos. Scary!!!

It always surprises me that if scientists come up with a new theory and search for evidence they always find it, doesn't that mean that we create our own truth/world?

Everything is real but relative. It is only real because you experienced it, personally or subjectively. When you experienced it, so it's real there's no question at all about it. However, what you experienced is only within you, it may or may not exists to anyone else. In this case, relative. On the other hand, everything is changing, and so, what exists today for sure will exist in another form in billions of years; so, it's simply not real. This is the simple truth of everything is illusion; at the same time relatively real.

Is the human species the only ones capable of making such statements about this life experience being real or not? 1st wouldn't we need to establish and classify What is real and what is not? 2. Reality in terms of what we know (3rd dimension) vs the multiple dimensions possible known to mankind 10 + dimensions? We do have yet to comprehend and learn who and what can interact in other dimensions and why. All I can say is that we are all trapped in the same continous system of the now. Everything we know exist only in the now. Not before or not in the future.. this is also something we need to comprehend, the metronome of subatomic level of the present moment that we all organisms share in common. A constant continuum that perhaps is broken or revealed after Death?

I admit that this idea often crossed my mind: if we weren't
here, who would observe this universe? I love this topic LoL 👍🌈

Lol... It's real as it gets... Don't feed this kind of information to your viewerS . The universe is real we are real.. We are not living in a simulation.... But While God made earth and GARDEN of Eden... The cunning snakes are all ready on earth too.. The God Would knew about this.... But why did he didn't interfere.. it's not like he would be doing something at that particular time.. He should've interfered so as to escape our Impending demise..

Between the senses and that which observes what the senses provide, there is an interruption. The neuro scientist Paul MacLean (available on YT as 'Paul MacLean, MD interviewed by Ayub Ommaya, MD') said the brain always stands between events and our perception of them and this is a big problem. In all the years he studied brain function he said "I don't know what in the world is going on in there really". Time and space are like everything else, purely informational phenomena so just because you may confirm the same events and attributes, you are also just a stream of information within that same faculty from to me.

I'll admit it. I'm not smart enough to fully understand this lol.
