Cheese & Veggies Grits 🧀
If you’re not a fan of oats (first of all, explain), then grits might be a good alternative. Maybe you’re looking for something new to try. Whatever the case may be, use it as the excuse to try this because it’s soooo good 😋
I have a savory version today, and tomorrow I’ll be posting a sweet version.

Here’s what you need:
• ~ Grits ~
¼ cup grits
• ⅔ cup water
• Salt & Pepper to taste
• 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
• 1 tsp each: Garlic powder, ground ginger, onion powder, Korean BBQ spice (this is optional but I love the flavor)
• 2-3 slices @daiyafoods cheddar cheese or cheese of choice

~ Veggie Topping ~
• Fresh Mushroom
• Green onion
• Cabbage
• 1 tsp Sesame oil
• 1 tsp Seasoned rice vinegar
• 1 tbsp Soy sauce

1. Cook grits with water and seasoning in a pot until thick. Medium heat.
2. Turn off heat and add cheese. Mix until melted.
3. Stir fry veggies in sesame oil. Add rice vinegar while stir frying to deglaze pan and prevent sticking then add soy sauce once the veggies are soft.
4. Plate it up! Super simple to make and only takes a few mins of prep.
